By Toby Edge

If you want to successfully lose weight you may need to do more than just eat right and exercise. Doing these things will naturally help you to reduce your level of body fat, but are you going to be able to stick with your exercise plan and diet forever?

Most people will generally fail with any type of weight loss plan or diet after a few weeks or months. Some might even manage to stick with it for more than a year. However the end result is the same - a return to 'default setting' and your default diet, at which time you pile the pounds back on. Why it this? Well, simply becaues the majority of people simply are not 'programmed' correctly to lose weight for good - their subconscious mind is not supporting then in their efforts for long.

The subconscious part of our brain is essentially what guides and drive us through our lived. It is going to determine our successes and failures, whatever they may be, and will be extremely important in your battle with the bulge. If you've tried many diets before without long term success then its highly likely that your 'wiring' is wrong. In orde to counter this, you need to try to 'rewire' your programming so it works with you, not against you.

Workout your mind, then your body
Most people, when they start off with any weight loss goal, will start working out their body. They will exercise and look for a brand new diet. What they should be doing, however, is start by working out their mind. This really is the foundation of all weight loss success.

If you do not have a subconscious thats programmes to believe that you'll lose weight for good, it just will not happen. Only once this has been changed around should you begin taking the actions steps of dieting and exercising for a weight loss result. If you do this then you'll find it possible to stick with your healthy eating plan without falling foul of the many pitfalls that often trip us all up.

Surely this is the result you want? Surely you want to become someone who gets slim and maintains their weight easily, without having to constantly watch they eat? This is really the ideal of all of us, and is perfectly realistic if you take simple steps to workout and re-programme your subconscious mind before you try and fail at another diet again.
