Eating healthy alone can't help you lose all the weight you want. Eventually, you've got to get off your butt and get it in gear. But don't worry, you don't have to do exercises that you can't stand, just pick something fun that you already love to do.

ipod out and put on some tunes that make you want to move.

Working out with friends can be a fun way to get motivated to stick to your exercise plan. Even if it's just walking around the neighborhood after dinner. If you think you might need a bit of motivation, find some friends to work out with.

Workout video games are an excellent way to get in shape and have a good time simultaneously. This is a healthy activity that everyone in you family can enjoy. If you choose an activity that you enjoy, you will forget that you are exercising. When you are playing, your focus is on the game and not the difficulty of the workout, so this will help you last longer and have a more successful workout.

Buy clothing that looks good on you. This is a great way to keep yourself motivated in the beginning of a workout routine. There is a wide selection of workout clothing available. Since there are so many options available, you can put together a variety of different kinds of outfits. This exercise gear will make you want get in shape.

Don't make the mistake of doing the same workout routine day after day, obviously that will get real bring, real soon. Mix it up so you always have something fresh to do. One day maybe you take a yoga class, the next day go swimming, try boxing, go for a hike on a nature trail you've never been on before. Working out should be fun and exciting.

Ah, the power of a good reward. Listen, when you've been eating right and exercising and you've seen some progress, you deserve to reward yourself with a little something. Now the key here is to not reward yourself with a pint of Ben & Jerry's, that's pretty counterproductive. But get a manicure or buy a new gold clu or go to the movies. Something fun and just for you to keep you motivated.
